CE#4.2

1. It would completely ruin not only the relationship with mexico, but it would ruin our economy and completely shatter theirs.

2. inmates who have either been charged with or convicted of capital murder, aggravated sexual assault or human smuggling.

3. they're doing a test for 6 months to get a sense of how much extra hours would help the struggling music venues or hurt the neighbors who complain about the noise.

4. it uses the same thing that you would see on netflix - the "recommended" it would send you a box of clothes based off of what you look at.

5. Blue Dahlia Bistro

Long response:

First of all, the wall would be so expensive to make, and it would very strongly negatively effect our economy and destroy theirs. It would be more than 800 miles of wall, which would be so incredibly long to make and some parts go over private properties.

I think Trump just wants the wall up to piss people off because he knows we can't do anything about it. It only personally affects me by just making me angry. I would probably move out of the US if I had the choice.

I personally think the wall is an incredibly immature thing for trump to do because he just wants a sense of power.

I don't think it will be built. People will refuse to build it, cause it's not like Trump is going to build it himself.

No one should pay to support trump in anything!!

If the wall absolutely has to be built and payed for, we should charge the government. NO ONE SUPPORTS THIS WHY SHOULD WE ALL PAY???

three pillars of photography

f2.8

f16

1. our eyes

2. the smaller the aperture, the larger the f-number. the higher the aperture, the smaller the f-number.

3. depth of field is when the f-number impacts the background and foreground - how they would blur or focus.

high

low

a. slow
b. slow
c. fast
d. fast
e. fast
f. fast

a. slow
b. slow
c. fast
d. slow
e. slow
f. slow

slow shutter speed - the camera opens the lens very slowly, usually blurring any motion
long shutter speed - usually over 1 second shutter speeds - used in low-light or night photography
fast shutter speed - freezes action , typically above 1/500th of a second

1.it could be dark, so your photos would be more focused
2. use low ISO when there is plenty of light
3. when there is not enough light

aperture 2.8-22
shutterspeed 1sec-1/4000 sec
ISO 100-25600

Photo Manipulation and Ethics

1. There's a time and place (and amount of photo manipulation) for everything. And yes, there is a stopping point for an amount of photo manipulation to where it is unethical.

2. Even toning photos without disclosure can cost you your job.

3. When you get to the point of where you are manipulating people's natural existence, I think that is where you are to the point of being unethical.

4.

I think that this was the worst manipulation because they completely changed her skin color, face, background and everything. That was very unethical of the editor or photographer.

5.

I think this photo is the least unethical because from what I read in the caption, it sounds like he wanted it edited, and he just wanted to seem more heroic.

C.E.#4.1

short answer:
1. more than 3,000 educators in its first 10 years
2. Bill Gates, Amancio Ortega Gaona, Warren E. Buffett, Carlos Slim Helu, Jeff Bezos, Mark Zuckerberg, Lawrence J. Ellison, Michael R. Bloomberg.
3. Health Care, Marijuana, E-commerce, Tech, Home and building maintenance.
4. Array of photos, movie - big screen, artifacts, hall of fame.
5. prediction 1 : the wheels start to fall off at twitter
prediction 2: "Alexa, prepare for a backlash"
prediction 3: Apple's woes will get worse before things get better
prediction 4: uber and lyft back in Austin by summer
prediction 5: AMD acquistino rumors revived

Long response:
If I was in or outside of school, I wouldn't watch it anyways. To be honest, I just don't want to hear all of the bullshit come out of trump's mouth about how happy he is to be president of the United States - I could care less what he has to say about his life. Donald Trump is THE LAST person on my list of people I would love to listen to. I wouldn't want to waste my time listening to a bunch of bullshit. I'd much rather be listening to a Ted Talk about Nigerian Young Authors or writing my book than have to hear his stupid voice and whatever the heck he has to say about presidency - which is obviously something he is very inexperienced on. I have much more important things to do with my life.

cropping

This photo is cropping because I would most likely think that the photographer wasn't actually this close to the person in the photo or he would have noticed that they were there and looked awkward.

symmetry and patterns

This photo is symmetry and patterns because of the lines of black and white consistently going across the photo, creating a pattern that focuses the main subject (the falling man) mainly.

create depth

This photo to me creates depth because the photographer caught the building falling, creating the kinda of 3D look in the photo, almost like you're in the scene with them. The depth is in the building falling apart and how focused it is.

viewpoint

This photo is viewpoint because I know most of the photos on 9/11 were taken on ground, where most photographers get, but this looks as if it was all the way out on the water, like the photographer was in a boat or plane.

avoiding mergers

This photo is avoiding mergers because the smoke and sky are such different colors, they create a harsh line of difference in the picture. The building is also dark, which follows the avoiding mergers rule because the sky is very light.

framing

This photo is framing because the main focus is the light, which is out of place in the photo, making the darkness completely around the blown out the "frame" of the photo.

balance

This photo is balance because even with some chaos in the background and around the main focus with all the firefighters, but the main focus is the guy who is out of place, the one not in the firefighter suit and he's helping the firefighter, creating balance in the photo.

lines

This one is obviously lines because of the lines in the picture, but it is leading lines because of the line falling or heading in the same direction of the guy falling, making him the off centre thing and it confuses you, making him the main focus.

rule of thirds

I see this as the rule of thirds because the main focus is on the right side, the buildings on fire. But it could also be seen as rule of thirds the other way around where the plane is the main focus, it's just where the eye goes first.

simplicity

I see this as simplicity because the main focus when you look at this, the first thing you see is the background. Yes, simplicity is usually in the background, but the foreground is very simple and blank.

welcome back!

I picked this photo because the story behind it really touches me. There seems to be a lot of tear gas releases recently and it's obvious in the photo that the boy is coughing, yet he helps the other boy.

I picked this photo because it hurts me to look at it. It makes me think about what I would do if that was me.

I picked this photo because it makes me wonder what it would be like to be stuck in a situation like that.

My favorite song of 2016 would probably have to be Logic Slave 2 because the music touches me and I love the beat. Logic also has a repeated talent for using very deep lyrics, so I love to listen to his music when I'm in the feels.

My favorite movie of 2016 was Arrival. I saw it with my ex and it made me just think about if life was actually like that, if something were to happen to Earth, how would we react?

I think the most important news story of this year was that NASA found 1,284 new planets that could support life. We are constantly looking for a new planet to live on just because we can't freaking take care of this one.

Image result for CRISPRI think the people that win people of the year is the CRISPR scientists because we always need knew sources of technology for science and anything new that we can discover is a benefit to the human race.

I think the biggest sports event of 2016 in my opinion was the FINA World Swimming Championships because swimming is such a big part of my life and I love watching other people swim so I can see what I can change about my strokes and diving, etc.

One thing over my holiday that I had the most fun with was working. I got a job at Galaxy Cafe about a month ago and I love it.

My biggest goal for 2017 is to stay organized, fit and happy. I'm trying to stay drama free and just have fun with my life.

I'm looking forward to getting a car this year and being able to drive myself to school and everywhere else.
